There were 145 players who enjoyed the continuing sunshine to contest our mid week Stableford competition, with the A Grade winner Kane Hancock collecting the prize due to an extremely close count back with 38 points over Terry Lawes for 2nd, 3rd went to Barry Fisher with 36 pts on a count back. A Reserve saw Allan Warry return 41pts giving him 1st over Dave Muir 40pts and 3rd was Ian Goodman 38pts on a count back. B Grade winner was Noel Bushell with the score of the day 42pts from Terry Hicks 37pts and 3rd went to Geoff Leviny 37pts. John Lloyd had his best round in a long while returning 41pts 2nd went to Terry Hulm with 36pts on a count back from John Ralph 36. NTPs: on the SeaFire Steak and Seafood 3rd Kane Hancock at 281cm, Peter Campbell Physio 9th Noel Bushell 162cm, the SeaFire 10th Clayton Hope 126cm, the Yamba Barber Shop 12th Dave Muir at 146cm and the SeaFire 17th Harry Peacock 218cm. Balls went to 33 with 18 on the back 9. Saturdays Medal Round One hundred and twenty six players contest the April medal the shot of the day going to Andre Dietiker who holed out on the 12th. Gus also took home the Gross with 85 hits. B Grade saw the score of the day with Bob Burke returning a great 66 nett on a count back from Paul Austin 66 nett and 3rd went to Bruce Petith 70 nett. Bob Burke also collected the Gross with 89 hits. C Grade medal winner was Bruce Ginn with 71 nett from Barry Latham 73 nett and 3rd was Kevin Molloy with 75 nett. Bruce won the gross with 99 hits. Sunday Mixed Forty players contested the mixed 2 person Stableford with the winning couple, Kate Thomson and team player Greg LaForest returning 66.35 on a count back from Margaret Solomon and Ron Jeffrey 66.25. 3rd went to the team of Dale and Phil Ramm with 67 points.
