Friday, October 16, was the first round of the 36 hole Eclectic and 42 players vied. Daily winner in A Grade was Jennifer Fagan with 38 points, followed by Glen Czarnota 36. B Grade was won by Kay Caller 37c/b from Linda Duke-Yonge also 37. Balls went to 34c/b and NTPs were won by Sandra Wallace – Tom’s Chinese Seafood Restaurant 3, Irene Williams – Retireinvest 3/2, Toni Elliott – Peter Campbell Physiotherapy 9, Sandra Russo – Kitchen to Table 10, Jennifer Fagan – Yamba’s Fisho 12, Di Sweetman – Wato’s Fish & Burgers 17 and Annie Green – Yamba Pharmacy 17/2. Saturday 17 October’s event was won by Linda Warne with 30c/b from Julie Campbell also 30. The final round of the Eclectic was played last Wednesday and winning A Grade for the day was Dale Ramm 39 points from Margaret Solomon 38. Jo King won B Grade 38c/b from Deirdre Gough also 38. Pin winners were Trish McDermid – Yamba Medical Centre 3, Annie Green – Yamba Florist 3/2 and also 17/2 The Block, Lyn Macfarlane – Yamba Pro Shop 9, Phyllis Telfer – Yamba Fair Butchery 10, Carolyn Chester – The Shoe Boutique 12 and Dale Ramm – Clovelly Fashions 17. Balls went to 35c/b. It was very pleasing to see Denise Ginn, Gwynne Thomas and Noni Rixon graduate from 9 to 18 hole events on this day. Congratulations on their resolve to continue playing in the main events on Wednesdays. Ladies, you might consider staying for presentations as the sponsored prizes in the draw of the cards are only given to players who are present. Friday’s 2BBB Stableford Multiplier was contested by 41 ladies and the winners were Tricia Gosling and Robyn Brockwell with 86 points. Runners-up were Lyn Bartley and Linda Duke-Yonge 82.Pins were taken by Bev Wood 3, Jennifer Dewar 3/2, Chris Harris 9, Kathy Parker 10, Pauline McKinnon 12, Janelle Carpenter 17 and Anne Schuhmacher 17/2.
