On Monday February 21, Yamba Day VIEW Club held its AGM, and a committee was elected. 

Our outgoing President, Lyn, was thanked for the wonderful 12 years she put in as the Club President, publicity and program officer. She will be sorely missed. Our past President, Margaret Cohen, conducted the changeover.

Our guest speaker, Peter, from the multi awards winner Nicholson Fine Food, gave us a wonderful outline of what his business is all about. The business is the winner of 15 Australian Champion trophies, and the chocolate mousse decorated with hibiscus flower syrup and garnishing was mouth-watering. They hold “tour and taste experience” which last 30 minutes and can be booked by calling the factory. It’s all about Belgian chocolate, fruit vinegars, garnishing pearls and spice mixes.

Our member, Ursula, celebrated her birthday with a little gift and a rendition of “Happy Birthday”.  The members enjoyed a very tasty chicken dinner followed by carrot cake.
