Yamba Bowling Club Euchre

The Yamba Bowling Club Euchre tournament on Monday March 7, saw Isabel Ayscough in the winner’s circle. Isabel was the outright winner with 10 games Neil Franey was a close second on 9 games. Paul Jackson won the lone hand prize, donated by Noel Collie. The lucky door prize went to Mary Corcoran. Thursday March 10, Donnie Whalan held great cards. Donnie was the winner of the evening with a top score of 10 games. Four players came in second with 9 games each. They were Judy Butcher, Muriel Bowler, Helen Haling and Moya Brennan-Taylor. The lone hand prize, donated by Neil Franey, was won by Moya Brennan-Taylor. A warm welcome back was extended to Donnie Whalan, also Marie Boots back from her trip to Tasmania. All players were delighted with their Easter Eggs, donated by the Euchre Club. Monday March 14, Mary Corcoran was the winner with a great score of 12 games. Second place was Judy Butcher with 11 games. Lila Harris won the lone hand prize which was donated by Mary Corcoran. Thursday March 17, saw great cards played. Judy Butcher and Jean White both excelled with 11 games each. The lone hand prize was won by Graeme Routson and donated by Dot. Evans. Welcome back to the Routsons from their trip to Victoria visiting family. Euchre is played at the Yamba Bowling Club on Monday and Thursday evenings, with play commencing at 7pm. All are welcome.
