Robert and Debbie Hodson established Yamba Pumps and Irrigation in October 2004 on Yamba Road. The success of the business saw them expand and move to Uki Street in the Industrial Estate where they are now located.
Originally from Armidale, where Robert had been working in the industry, they made the sea change with their three young daughters who went on to attend the local schools and now all help out from time to time in the family owned and operated business.
Robert has over 20 years’ experience in the pump and irrigation industry and he has seen many changes in that time.
In his 20 plus years he has attained many qualifications and is certified to service septic systems, pool monitoring and maintenance including chemical treatment and balance of pools and spas, and has attended endless courses on pumps and controller servicing and maintenance, and irrigation design.
This extensive training not only improves Robert’s knowledge but gives customers the best local service possible.
Yamba Pumps provide service on all the pumps and pressure cleaners they sell. They stock a range of quality brands such as Grundfos, Dab, Davey, Calpeda, Onga , Robin, Hurlcon, Astral, Waterco, and Bar pressure cleaners, a wide range of 12 and 24 volt pumps including Jabsco, Rule, Shurflo and Silvan, spray, pressure and wash-down pumps, and Pondmate pond pumps just to name a few. They also install and repair existing irrigation systems, and stock a variety of irrigation products.
Yamba Pumps also stock a wide range of hose, metric and rural poly pipe and fitting including transition fittings suitable for older pipe, PVC pressure pipe and fittings, taps, valves, threaded fittings in brass, gal, 316 stainless steel, and plastic. Water filtration units and filter cartridges, Solo spray packs, spray fittings, plus much much more.
