Last week I was contacted by council to inform me I had won a watering can; I had participated in a survey about water conservation. You beauty.

Yet a neighbour has a water leak, water has made the back lane unusable, and my driveway is deteriorating quickly. Council was informed weeks ago.

Council staff came and had a look. The water is coming from the property.

All they can do is send a letter to the property owner (who doesn’t live there) to have it fixed.

I was told council cannot make them fix the problem.

Makes you wonder some days.
