The Grafton Lions Clubs ie Grafton Big River and Grafton have joined forces to create a new and revitalised Club. The combined group brings together a range of Lions’ experiences. The Club Changeover to the new Lions Year 2017/ 2018 has Judy Banko (president); Andrew Madden (secretary); Rhonda Dunkel (treasurer) and Sue Kearney (membership). The installation was carried out by District Membership Chair, Robin Parker (Valla Club), with Zone Chair Brian Grieve (Maclean Club) as Chairman for the evening. Also in attendance were members from other Clubs in the Lions District including two past District Governors, on this auspicious occasion This special occasion was climaxed with a presentation to Denny O’Connell for his 60+ years of service to Lions, but more particularly to the Grafton Club. While the Club is now in a healthier state it still needs new members in order to carry out the range of voluntary services to the Grafton community. The original Grafton Club has given 64 years of service to the community. This service must continue with your support. Currently the Club is focussing on membership ie new members, new ideas, new activities; fund raising and social activities. Lions always have fun.
