Tell CVC what you want for the next 10 years

Clarence Valley Council (CVC) staff were out and about around the Clarence Valley last week, to discuss what direction the council will take over the coming decade. The new ‘community strategic plan’ will map out the vision for the Clarence Valley over the next 10 years, a CVC media release states. The plan is about making the biggest positive difference, making smart use of the resources we have and ensuring every dollar is spent wisely. It’s a balance of being super-practical but imaginative. What’s really important is that this plan puts the community vision and ideas into action – help others be heard. Next week, three community workshops will be held at: Grafton Community Centre, Friday, February 10 – 5.30pm to 7.30pm; Maclean Civic Hall, Saturday, February 11 – 5.30pm to 7.30pm; And, Yamba Treelands Drive Community Centre, Sunday, February 12 – 5.30pm to 7.30pm. People can also complete an online survey and make further comment at the council’s Clarence Conversations website. Clarence Valley Council is also looking for groups that it works with, to discuss how they can have their voices heard.
