The Clarence District Branch of The Bowls Past Presidents Association of NSW were hosts to the 2019 State Friendship Carnival held at Red Rock Bowling Club from Friday to Sunday September 13-15. Eighteen teams of mixed fours representing the North & North West, Clarence and Hawkesbury Nepean Branches enjoyed bowls and friendship with one another, together with wonderful hospitality from the Red Rock Bowling Club. Winners of the carnival comprised a team of Graeme White, Greg Wilkins, Robert Sweep, and Garry White representing The North/North Western Tablelands with runners-up going to the local team of Ashley Bancroft, Alan Stichbury, Ron Budden and Terry Mudiman.
