Each year the students and teachers of the Maclean High School along with their SRC hold a major fundraising day to raise support for the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter. Since 2002 they have raised and donated over $6,500. Monday week was a chance for everyone to don some red and yellow colours to show their support with a gold coin collection helping to raise over $250 in addition to proceeds from a BBQ sausage sizzle run by the SRC.
