Sunday 4th October, Bridge to Bridge Brekkie on the Deck: An absolutely beautiful morning with sixty plus members and friends turning out to enjoy breakfast on the deck while watching the annual Grafton Bridge to bridge Ski race. Barney Kenny kept the popular barbecued bacon and egg rolls coming; as spectators sipped, president Robin’s tasty orange champers and waited for the first boat to head off downriver. Special thanks to Betty Essex, who with a couple of helpers, was once again responsible for the preparation of our delicious breakfast. John Betts organised a game of Barefoot bowls and this was played directly following the race, in what were near to perfect bowling conditions. All in all a very pleasant and sociable morning.
