Small Halls concert at Broadwater

Broadwater Community Hall is excited to have been chosen as a venue for the Fanny Lumsden’s Country Halls Tour, taking part on Friday 12th May 2023 at 6.30pm, featuring Fanny Lumsden plus two support acts.

Fanny is an ARIA and 8 x Golden Guitar award winning artist.

This is an all-in-community-night-out. Broadwater was severely damaged in the March 2022 floods. This is exactly the event the town needs to help it get back on its feet.

This is the tenth year of Fanny Lumsden’s never ending national Country Halls Tour, starting from humble beginnings of three halls in the Riverina in 2012. The tour will visit halls throughout regional NSW, including Broadwater. “I can’t believe that those three halls in 2012 have turned into 10 years and over 200 halls all over the country.” Fanny commented. “To every community who has showed up and showed off their hall, thank you. To every person cooking the BBQ, run the bar, put out chairs, to every km my team has driven with me, to every person who has told me stories of their halls, thank you! This is to all those regional communities out there supporting the arts whilst feeding the nation… that’s the serious side of it, but mostly to everyone from babies to grandparents for just turning up for a fun night out”.

The event is open to all ages. General admission tickets are $35. Age 5-15 years are $15. Younger kids are welcome for free. A family ticket of 2 adults + 3 5-15 years is available for $90.

Snacks are included in the ticket price, and people are welcome to BYO food and drink too.
