To the person who hit and killed a small wallaby on Sunday night September 6 around 10pm in Jamison St, Maclean.
Shame on you, you never even slowed down, flew down the hill and up the other street. You left the poor animal to die, it was only discovered the next morning that she had a baby joey in her pouch still alive. Wires were contacted and they came and rescued it.
To the person responsible, if you have a conscience, I hope next time you slow down and have some respect for the wildlife, who have to come closer to our homes to feed. It was a very distressing site to see.
