S.E.S of Lower River to benefit from craft fair

Once again the 14th Quota Craft Fair was a great success with 650 people attending, some returning both days to purchase some wonderful handmade Christmas gifts. Overall, 26 stall holders displaying creative skills were happy with sales and eager to return. Raffle tickets were popular and the winner of the Webber BQ – Gwen McKenzie (ticket 1064); 2nd – Ann McPherson (ticket 4491) accommodation package; 3rd – Tracey McGeorey (ticket 4456) $100 Caperberry’s voucher. Thank you to the donors of the wonderful prizes, and all who purchased tickets. This year the raffle profit will aid the local SES of the Lower River, who does so much for the community with little recognition. Unfortunately, the October meeting was postponed and the next meeting will be on October 31 at the Yamba Bowling club at 5.30pm. Ladies new to the area, looking for some fellowship, fun and a laugh, we would love to meet you; so come along to our meeting and learn about Quota and its aims. Vicki Fleming
