When the council goes ahead with the proposed roundabout on Treelands Drive/Yamba Road and Carrs Drive/Yamba Road, I am led to believe that Yamba Road will be closed from Shores Drive to Osprey Drive.

That would mean that all traffic entering and exiting Yamba would need to use Shores Drive, The Halyard, Gumnut Road and Osprey Drive.

The only other alternative is to use stop and goes and that would, in my opinion, gridlock Yamba.

Maybe the council and residents of Yamba need to rethink either traffic lights or the Yamba bypass road. Wendy Bartlett, Yamba
