Raising funds to support local services

The Lawrence Community Fundraising Inc continue to work hard for the community through fundraising raffles and putting on free workshops, including the Lawrence Loves Festival, which is coming up on May 25 at Memorial Park, Lawrence, from 2-9pm.

The day will showcase what Lawrence has to offer with free music and a scone making demonstration by the CWA, along with a BBQ by the local RFS with burgers and other great bush tucker available to purchase.

The Lawrence Community Fundraiser Inc has recently donated a substantial amount ($3000) to the local Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service in Lismore, which supplies a very important service to our town in the event of medical emergencies, which is on top of financially supporting other local groups, and more recently, the Lawrence School, RFS, and SES services.  We continue to engage with all groups to make Lawrence a truly great place to live and work.  Until next time, why not come and visit us, you will be pleasantly surprised.
