It is only three weeks until Quota’s Annual Craft Fair at Yamba Bowling Club. Saturday, October 1 is the day… and it is just one day this year so make sure you mark the day on your calendar. The Fair is fully booked with an amazing array of stalls. For a sneak preview you can see Craft Fair Postcards on our Facebook page. Just put Quota International of Lower Clarence in the search area of Facebook and you will find us… and don’t forget to Like us so you get updates. This year Quota is donating the proceeds of the raffle to Disabled Surfers, an amazing organisation that assists people with disability to get into the water and have fun. In the past Quota has donated two beach access wheelchairs which are still used in the Clarence area, so members are please to assist the Disabled Surfers with their ventures. We have another recipient of Quota’s ‘Random Act of Kindness’ awards in local schools. These awards are for students who are identified by their schools as knowing how it is ‘Kool to be Kind’. Recently member Lin Buckpitt presented Chennai Wyse of Harwood Island Public School with her certificate and book voucher. Well done Chennai. If you are interested in the work of Quota or would like to attend one of our social functions contact Wendy on 6646 9883. Quota holds its monthly meeting at Yamba Bowling Club on 2nd Tuesday of the month at 5:45pm, followed by dinner at Yamba Bowlo Bistro for those who would like to stay. Suzanne Monin
