Put some colour in your life

Capture   Cold and raining one minute, hot the next – that’s Melbourne weather for you. After living in Melbourne for a number of years, Pauline Aik from Yamba Paint Place, decided to move to Yamba 16 years ago, because of the perfect weather here, and who can blame her? With a passion for colour, and a professional painter in her family, it was natural for Pauline to take over the ownership of Yamba Paint Place which she has run for 10 years. “I love colour, and I love working with people and helping them with their colour schemes for their homes, whether they are decorating internally or giving the outside a lift,” says Pauline. “Colour choice is very important and can really make or break a room. “I have done numerous colour courses including Colour Design with Lucy Sutherland, the General Manager of the International School of Colour and Design so I know how important colour is in a home, and how much it can impact on our moods and lifestyle.” Pauline says that having enough time to spend with customers is really important when running a small business like this and to ensure her customers receive the best attention possible she has just employed an experienced full time staff member. “We also have a part time staff member who works in the office with us as well,” says Pauline. “Not only are they are great to work with, they really support what we do here.” “As we stock anything and everything to do with painting it is important our staff are fully trained in the use of all products,” says Pauline. And the range at Yamba Paint Place is huge. Not only do they stock paint and accessories for the home they also stock automotive, marine, industrial and specialty paints, including artistic paints. “We have so many new products either in store or coming soon,” says Pauline. “There is a new car care range, designer chalk paint for furniture, Rustoleum lubricants, plus so much more.” “We also provide colour consultancy, help you with finding a reputable painter and can calculate how much paint you will require for your job.” Yamba Paint Place has all the answers. Whether your painting or renovating your home, looking for expert advice on colour or even need some DIY tools to help you achieve a perfect result, call in and talk to Pauline and the team.
