Pre-War MG display in Maclean

On Saturday September 7, the Pre-War MG Register of Australia will be holding a car display in River Street Maclean between 9am & 1pm.  (We’re holding a road closure permit from Clarence Valley Council).

River Street will be closed from the roundabout at the post office and SPAR from 7.30am to 1pm. Detours will be in place.

The display is only aspect of the Pre-War MG Register of Australia’s national meeting being held from September 6-10. Headquarters for the national meeting is the Angourie Resort in Yamba. The cars on display will be touring across the Lower Clarence region on subsequent days of the national meeting.

Cars taking part were manufactured between 1923 & 1939. Many are quite famous machines, having prestigious racing history both in Australia and the UK.
