Twenty one players attended the Tuesday April 12 Burton Bash, a three club single stableford on the front 9. It was good to see Dennis Burton with three of his friends from Ballina, join us to contest this fun event. Players were surprised how they could play with only three clubs in their bag, some good and some bad. No problem for today’s winner of the prestigious Burton Bash trophy, Alek Miltiadou with a fine score of 20pts. Someone suggested he sell his other 11 clubs. The winner in A Grade was Andy Duke-Yonge 17pts, Bruce Douglas was runner up with 15pts c/b from Erik Pedder. B Grade winner was Alek Miltiadou 20pts, runner up Tony Turner 19pts and third Peter Jarman 18pts.
