Yamba was at its pristine best last Tuesday week with Greens running true again after renovations and the early morning temperature warm enough to play in shirts without jumpers. Our 24 starters had a great time and some great results for the nine hole Stableford event. Winners in A Grade were Erik Pedder with 21 points on a count back from Steve Dorrell also 21 and in third Peter Jarman on 20. In B Grade it was similarly tight with Ken Taylor beating Richard Ardin on a countback, both on 20 points and Jenny Muir taking third on 18. One of the match play quarter finals was played between Maz Mazoudier and Tony Turner with Maz progressing to the semis with a 3 up win. NTPs on the 3rd saw Erik Pedder take home the Yamba Pro Shop voucher and Ken Lillie the Sassafras voucher. On the 9th Erik Pedder scored again with the Bean Scene Cafe voucher and Ken Taylor won the Yamba Barber Shop haircut.
