It was great to get back on the course again after a week of the Vets Tournament caused us to miss a game. Our thanks must go to the greens staff, who organised the Green renovation around our game, allowing us to play our normal game hitting off an hour later. The sanded Greens (or was it inspiration from Jason Day) saw some great scores on the day, with Steve Dorrell taking out A Grade with 22 points and Peter Jarman just pipping David McNaught on a count back, both on 21. In B Grade Ann Ardin won the money with 20 points, the result of sinking putts from everywhere. Garry Taylor and Keith Britton took the minor places both on 18. The Yamba Pro Shop NTP on the 3rd went to David McNaught and the Sassafras voucher to Garry Taylor. On the 9th Bruce Douglass won the Bean Scene Cafe voucher and Norm Sinclair the Yamba Barber Shop haircut. Any golfer looking for 9 holes on a Tuesday morning simply needs to be at the course ready to hit off before 8am and we’ll ensure to fit you in. Peter Jarman
