We saw 20 players greet the starter on the back 9 last week including a match play between Al Burke and Andrew Shelley, which went dawn to the last hole where Al prevailed 2 up. It was great to welcome back Ken Taylor after a long absence recovering from a heart operation and although he didn’t set the world on fire overall, there were some great shots in his round and we look forward to his continuation as part of the group. In the Stableford event Kevin Moran won A Grade with 20 points from John Lockwood and Maz Mazoudier both on 19. In B Grade Ken Lillie took home the prize with 20 points from Jenny Muir 19 and Ann Ardin 17. Al Burke won the NTP on 12th for the Yamba Barber Shop Haircut and Chris Sharp the Bean Scene Cafe voucher. On the 17th Peter Jarman won the Yamba Pro Shop voucher and Ken Gallagher the Sassafras voucher. If anyone would like a pleasant nine holes of golf with us on any Tuesday morning simply be at the course ready to tee off before 8am and we will be sure to find a spot for you in one of our groups.
