Orcas take on the Pointers

Capture

Eleven members of the Yamba Orcas Junior Swim Club travelled to Crescent Head on the weekend for the Crescent Head Pointers Swimming Club 7th Annual Carnival.
The Orcas did their best to kerb the current shark problem on the NSW North Coast by going head to head with the Pointers at Crescent Head Pool. Swimming against not only Crescent Head, but other clubs including, Port Macquarie, Kempsey, Sawtell, and Macksville, the Yamba Orcas put in their best effort and had a great day in the pool. The swimmers and their families made a weekend out of the trip and camped at Crescent Head for two nights and enjoyed swimming in the river, surfing and skating the local skate park amongst other things.
