Open invitation to Live Prawn Productions AGM

Live Prawn Productions (LPP), the non-profit arts and cultural event team that operates the Yamba River Markets and produces Surfing The Coldstream Festival holds it’s AGM this Thursday from 6pm at Wooloweyah Hall. Current LPP President Phil Nicholas said, “Our AGM is unlike most annual association meetings. We’re a community group bonded by a common love of music, art and cultural events and our AGM reflects that spirit. In recent years the meeting has become more of an enjoyable social event with music, finger food and drinks laid on for attendees.” Nominations have been lodged for all key Committee positions, however new members are encouraged to join. LPP membership costs just $5 and members are invited to nominate for Committee positions if they wish to do so. “It’s a really easy way to help shape cultural events in your area,” said Mr Nicholas, “we meet once a month at a local pub and discuss our plans over dinner. It’s a really friendly environment – not like your typical committee meeting. We’re also on the look out for a future festival director and association treasurer, so it’s a really good time to join up and get to know the current committee members.” For more information on Live Prawn Productions, please ring Phil Nicholas on 0412 273 004 or head to Surfing The Coldstream Festival website and contact the committee via email.
