Can you help the museum?

Do you have any old woodworking tools or an extension ladder that you no longer use? The volunteers at Lawrence Museum need some tools, and especially an extension ladder, so they can restore and repair some of the exhibits, and to help with the building of the new shed. The museum receives many donations of historical significance, and some are in need of repair work. The museum collection needs more weatherproof space to protect and preserve larger items, so the committee is aiming to build a new shed this year. The new shed will also provide a better display area for visitors, and space for repair and maintenance work. The museum has some willing volunteers who have skills with various tools, but needs more tools so they can restore and maintain the collection, and build the shed. If you have any tools or a ladder you no longer need and feel you would like to donate this to the Lawrence Museum, you can either call in during open hours (Tuesday 9am – 1pm, Saturday & Sunday 1pm – 4pm) or call Rob Forbes, President on 0412 715 805.
