New trainee/apprenticeship opportunities for Clarence youth

Applications are now open for two new Grafton-based trainee/apprenticeships for young people interested in a career with Transport for NSW, according to Clarence Nationals MP Chris Gulaptis.

“As part of a recruitment drive for more than 50 trainee positions in regional NSW, the Government is looking to hire a Civil Construction Traineeship Line Marker and an Apprentice Bridge Carpenter in our region,” Mr Gulaptis said.

“Apprenticeships and traineeships are the perfect way to kick-start a career with hands-on, practical experience in a dynamic environment with exposure to high-profile projects with industry experts from day one.

“Whether you’re a school-leaver, re-entering the workforce or a seasoned worker looking to change careers, this is the opportunity to work on once-in-a-generation projects.”

Applications are now open and close on Sunday August 18. Successful candidates will start their career with Transport for NSW on January 13, 2020.
