With our AGM over and a full committee inducted by our new zone counsellor Anne Dinham, we welcome and thank all the committee members of Day VIEW 2016. It is going to be another busy year as we raise much needed funds for the three children that we at Day VIEW sponsor in the ‘Learning for Life’ programme run by The Smith Family. Now it is full steam ahead for International Women’s Day. Friday March 11 is the date at the Yamba Bowling club starting 9am till 2pm. There is spectacular entertainment, delicious food, wonderful prizes and friendship abounds. The day can best be described as ‘simply marvellous.’ All for $25. Money to be paid at the Bowling Club after contact with Joy, this is to be completed by February 26. There will be wearing of The Green and Easter bonnets a plenty as we celebrate Easter and St Patrick’s Days all rolled into our March luncheon on Monday the 21st at the Yamba Bowling Club. So ladies dust of those hats, give them a bit of a refresher, pop on some green, come enjoy the laughter and companionship Day VIEW offers. New members and guests always welcome.
