It just got easier to access your library with your mobile device. Regional librarian, Kathryn Breward, said the library was excited to announce during Library and Information Week, that there were now iOS and Android apps for the library catalogue. What you can do with this app: • search for items, and reserve the ones that interest you; • view your loans, reservations, and payments; • update your personal details; • manage multiple library memberships; • download e-books, e-audio books, and magazines; • save lists of favourite items for later; • “discover” – reading lists, featured items, recommendations for you, and; • use your camera to scan an ISBN in a bookstore to check if your library has copies. “This is a great opportunity to take your library catalogue with on your mobile device,” Ms Breward said. “Just look for the Spydus mobile app in your app store. Once it is installed select Clarence Regional Library and you are ready to access your library’s resources.”
