ABC television personalities ‘Costa’ and ‘Dirtgirl’ were in Grafton last week at the organics recycling facility. They were in town filming the ‘Compost Academy’, a project funded by the EPA’s Waste Less Recycle More program. The Compost Academy is a ‘mission compostable’, designed to engage families in diverting organics from landfill. A Compost Academy website will provide interactive, step by step resources for parents and families to support their own composting, worm farming and gardening.
