You know how children get irritable when they’re tired? So do I! Sleep is so important for our mental health! There are times when it is hard to go to sleep. Here’s a tip. When you notice you’re not sleeping, be mindful, relax and think to yourself; ‘OK, so I’m not sleeping… I’ll just be happy to be resting my body.’ It’s a trap to start thinking there’s something wrong. That only causes anxiety and then it gets worse. Just be happy resting your body. Most times you will go off to sleep! Be Mindful… Pause… Connect!
