Quota is all about Friendship and Fun and November is the perfect time to have some fun. With thanks to member Vicki who opened her home for our Melbourne Cup “Do”, members and friends enjoyed a self-catered luncheon, lots of chat, not to mention a glass or two of bubbles and a flutter or two on the Sweepstakes. Congratulations to the winners. Quota is also about sharing and caring. Members were happy to thank the special helpers and major raffle prize donors Yannick martin and Liz Imrie, from our recent Craft Fair at an afternoon tea at The Bowlo Café. Craig Spackman from the café was presented with a certificate of thanks to the management and staff for their support. Quota is also about kindness, and the Club presents a ‘Random Act of Kindness’ award to students of local schools each month. The recipient for November is Kaiden McLaren from St Joseph’s Primary Schools. Congratulations Kaiden. If you are interested in the work of Quota and want to join a group that counts friendship and fun as its goals, we meet at 5:30pm on the 2nd Tuesday each month in the boardroom of Yamba Bowling Club.
