  Monday November 9 was a huge milestone for U.H.A. member Elsie Hale, she celebrated her 100th birthday at Dougherty Villa with family, friends and Grafton mayor Ritchie Williamson. Elsie is now a member of the Grafton Auxiliary after belonging to Bonalba branch for 50 years. Elsie is a Life Member of the U.H.A. Grafton members Alba Linklater (President), Gwyn Quilty (Treasurer) and Elizabeth Holdway (Publicity Officer) attended Elsie`s birthday morning tea. The Grafton U.H.A. are holding their Christmas morning tea on Wednesday 18th at the Community Centre in Duke Street, commencing at 10am, tickets will be available at the door along with raffle tickets, tombola and lucky door. The trading table will also be loaded with goodies such as books, plants, cooking, jams and pickles etc. Tickets may be purchased from Go Girlz and Summerland Credit Union both in Prince Street. Come along and enjoy a great morning whilst supporting our local Grafton Base Hospital. All monies raised in Grafton by the U.H.A. go towards purchasing essential equipment for the hospital. The U.H.A. gift shop on the ground floor of the hospital will be closed for the Christmas break from December 18th and re-opens on January 7th. Monday November 23rd will be the last monthly meeting for 2015. Commencing at 1pm and held in the Education Centre at the rear of the hospital, following the meeting afternoon tea is provided.
