Man hit and killed by tow truck
A man has died after being hit by a truck in the Clarence Valley region.
Just before 9pm Friday September 22, emergency services were called to Summerland Way, Warragai Creek near Grafton, following reports a tow truck had hit a pedestrian.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 62-year-old man; however, he died at the scene.
The driver of the tow truck was not injured, and was taken to Grafton Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers attached to Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command established a crime scene and have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
