Squash: Last week we had a couple of five set matches. Match of the week was between Jim Croft & Joel Power. Joel came out strong to win the first two, Jim made a great come back to win the next three 15-12, winning on points (70-65); Nick Gregor def Nick Greenland 15-10; Raymond Wiblen def Tony Berger 15-12. It was great to see John Doust & Paul Smith back at doubles on a Thursday night. Cricket – Monday week was the start of the new indoor cricket competition. Maclean Sports Centre would like to welcome three new teams to the competition. If you are interested in playing you should contact the centre as soon as possible. Volleyball – Last week’s results: Junior Magpies def Allsorts 2-1; Kriso def Jetsters 2-1. Its good to see Dylan Causley playing volleyball, along side his mum and her friends. Robbie Clare and his daughter Emma also enjoyed themselves. If there is anyone interested in playing this great social fun game, come along on a Tuesday night at 6pm. Futsal Juniors – Last week was the first week back after having a couple of weeks of due to school holidays, with 45 juniors turning. If there is anyone juniors interested in playing, come along on a Wednesday afternoon. Two ages groups, 3.45pm (5-10), & 4.30-5.30pm (11-14), if you could be here at 4.15pm so I can place you into teams.
