Squash – Last week we had some great matches. Match of the week was between Ross Gudgeon & Sandra Jenkins, and it came down to the last point of the match, with Sandra serving a high ball, Ross took out the match 17-16, although Sandra won on points (74-67); Danny Wilson def Torbern Mikkelson 15-13 & even on points (68-68); Peter Greenland def Kane Hancock 15-12; Lauren Illig def Ray Hoad 15-10; Sam Cashman having two five set matches against John Auckram & Jason Harvey & to win both 15-9. Cricket New cricket competition is starting soon and we have already had four teams nominated. We will be having a couple of social games this week. Cricket is a great game consisting of eight players per team. Fun for all ages with every player having a chance to bat & bowl. New players & teams are always welcome to come along & join in the action packed fun. If you would like to nominate a team or as a individual, contact the centre. Volleyball Last week we had a couple of matches. Volleyball is a very fun & social sport. If there is anyone interesting in playing you should come along at 6pm on Tuesday. Futsal Juniors – Good numbers showed up again last week, its great to see all the juniors improving each & every week. If there are any juniors interested in coming along come down on a Wednesday afternoon. Two ages groups (6-10) 3.45pm-4.30pm & (11-14) 4.30pm-5.30pm, if you can be there at 4.15pm please, so I can place you into a team. Seniors – Last week’s results: The Lego’s def Pirates 6-5, The Fam def Wildcats 7-3, Goal Diggers def S.T.E.V.Es 13-8 & Uniform Shop def Mickos 13-6.
