At the April meeting 41 members attended, being Maclean Show Day some of our members were absent. All 23 members who attended Yamba Seniors Day enjoyed an excellent day of entertainment and a wonderful morning tea and lunch. Our Seniors Day was held on Wednesday April 6 at Maclean Bowling Club. The afternoon was well attended with 160 Seniors being entertained by ‘Double Trouble’. The afternoon tea consisted of scones, sandwiches and sponge cake which was delightful. Thanks to the Committee, also to Warren and Allan, who worked so hard setting the tables and helped get the afternoon started. Thanks also to those who supplied tombolas and items for the raffles. Our guest speaker at the May meeting will be a lady from the Women’s Refuge. A trip is being planned for the Alpaca Farm on Thursday May 19. Names to be taken at the meeting on Wednesday May 4 at Maclean Bowling Club at 10am. Bev Thompson
