The Sub-Branch held their first monthly meeting for 2016 on February 22 at Maclean Service Club. A large attendance of 43 members were president, 11 apologies were accepted and four visitors were welcomed. The senior vice president John Stubbs chaired the meeting in the absent of president Kevin Jones. A number of new members were welcomed to the Sub-Branch at this meeting. A proposed bus trip was announced to the Two Tail Winery, Nana Glen on March 20. Cost to be $5pp, details on the notice board at Maclean R.S.L. The Clarence Valley’s ANZAC Commemoration Concert 2016 “Theatre Of War” will be held Sunday, April 17 at the Saraton Theatre, Grafton. Cost $40 adults, $35 concession and $ 35 children. As a trial for the next 12 months, all members, plus one (1) guest will be admitted free to the luncheon/ finger food for the following commemorations: Anzac Day, Vietnam Veterans Day and Remembrance Day. The next Maclean R.S.L. Sub-Branch meeting will be held March 21 (due to Easter Long Weekend) at 10am at the Maclean Service Club. Allen Bell
