Congratulations to Wendy Haselum who won the Major Singles Championship at Maclean Women’s Bowling Club on Thursday March 3 when she defeated Lee Rae 25-21. Although interrupted by rain, this was a very close match with the scores being even several times. The winners of the L J Hooker game on Tuesday were the team with the biggest winning margin and they were B Cross, C Johnson and M Stallard who defeated V Bird, P Stockings and C Byrum. The voucher winners were N Phelps, L Rae and J Cotten who defeated M Brisbane, M Crelley and E Triffitt. The consolation prize went to M Tomek, J Johnston and I Whitney who were defeated by L Pearcey, W Haselum and C Shannon.
