Wednesday winners were J Moerenhout/Too Tall Cutts the runner up to Beefer Bassett, Kaos with G Maxted, Macca the lucky loser and the play of the day scoring a R/T 13-20 Too Tall Cutts. It just gets hotter with another hot Friday with Kaos, Ray Grant winners with r/up going to P Tranter/A Knox. Lucky loser Beefer Bassett and The Brown the play of the day a R/T to M Hall 13-07. Last Saturday at GDSC our No7 Pennant teams took on Red Rock for a hard fought 9 to 1 win and this Saturday afternoon we travel to Maclean. Skip’s to arrange cars and due to some team changes please check the board. Last Sunday we hosted the final the Senior District Pairs between Yamba’s M Scobie, G Meany & Iluka’s T Jenner, J Law with Yamba 27-6 winners, well done to all. Championship games played last Sunday March 6 included the Open Four semi-final with G Harrison, R Robinson, R Power, A Knox d M Shorten, D Clarke, R Lickiss, McMillan 26-7. We also hosted Major Single rounds which saw T Lickiss d J Ryan 31-10, M Walsh d Moerenhout 31-10, K McWaters d W James 31-13. In a hard fought match C Bennett d C Clarke 31-25 and after being down, Kaos dug deep to find lost form to defeat the outstanding K Garner 31-22 well done all a great display of our great player depth within the Club.
