The 32 ladies played a 4BBB Stableford, with competition fierce as the trophies up for grabs had been supplied by Val George – Christmas cakes, puddings and preserves all made in Val’s kitchen and all players knew what a great cook Val is. Val has been sponsoring every year with her wonderful fare. Thanks, Val, for your ongoing sponsorship.
Winners on a countback were Kate Apps and Cath Ayres with a score of 47 points; runners up were Helen Graney and Henny Taranto also 47 points.

Last week I was fortunate enough to spend three days at the PGA tournament in Brisbane, what a wonderful golf course and it made me realise how terrific our golf course is and the work that has been achieved since the floods. Thanks must go to our very hard-working green staff and the untold hours put in by volunteers. A big thanks guys, you must be proud of what you have achieved.
Next weeks event for the ladies is a 2-person Ambrose sponsored by Kate and Mark Hemmy NRMA, Grafton.
