This Thursday is the last week of the ladies social competition, unless adverse weather delays it until the following week after which the semi-finals, finals and the grand final will be played.

The results for last Thursday October 14 were Neill’s team (5 sets, 37 games) had close win over McAulay’s team (3 sets, 32 games), thanks to Naoka for filling in for Sharon; and in the other match Harrington’s team (7 sets, 42 games) won from McKenzie’s team (1 set, 22 games).  Also thanks to Jenny W, Carol and our newest recruit, Sallie for saving the day. Mitchell’s team were on the bye.  

The raffle of a membership for next year will be drawn at the Christmas party, hopefully, at the moment on December 2.

This Thursday October 21 competing teams will Neill against Mitchell’s team and McAulay’s to play McKenzie’s team, and with Harrington’s the bye team.
