Maclean & District Bowls

There were six matches of Club Championship Mixed Handicap Singles played last Sunday. See results section for full details as well as matches listed for play this weekend. The ‘XXXX Gold’ Classic Triples took place last Saturday with 24 teams taking part on good running greens. Congratulations to the winners, Peter Forrester’s team with the runner-up, the team skipped by Mark Baylis. Terry’s Travelling Bowlers, have their Christmas get together this Saturday November 28 for a 9.30am start. The men bowler’s Christmas Ham and Turkey day is on Saturday December 12 for a 1pm start. A list for 2016 Pennant players is up, to indicate if players are available and room for new names if not already thereon. Please indicate ASAP so we can inform District of the number of sides we can enter. There is still a few players who have not indicated their intentions. A list for expressions of interest for Selectors for 2016 is also on the board. Please keep an eye on the noticeboard for other events that will be taking place over the coming Christmas period.
