The Maclean CWA held their annual fund raising lunch on Wednesday, 13 July, serving up soup and slices to the community.
The annual event began around 10 years ago with the proceeds from this year’s event going towards a new and much needed kitchen.
Maclean CWA president Leonie Skinner said that the building also operates weekly as a soup kitchen as well as the Baby Health Clinic and a new kitchen is desperately needed.
This year over 40 lunch orders were taken.
