At the branch’s November meeting, Margaret Hendriksen, branch treasurer, returned from the North Coast Group AGM with an award for Linda Wright, our Branch International Officer. Linda won the prize for Best International report. This year the Country Of Study was Italy. Next year it will be Mongolia.
Maclean CWA will hold its last meeting for the year on Wednesday 9th December. Following the meeting we will have our annual Christmas luncheon in our hall with all members bringing plates of food. This year we will have as our guests some children from Maclean Public School and some members from the community who may have found it hard to get out as much as they would like. This is a great social occasion to end the year.
