Our weekly Members badge draw went off for the first time this week won by Elaine Heynes. We are sad to report that some persons unknown decided to take their vehicle out on the course in the early hours of Monday morning and some damage caused. The police have been notified and we are installing a camera security system. Some matchplay results were for the 18 holers Aaron Patterson over Max Withnell 3/1 and the 9 holers Bev Hardwick over Dick Grabham 3/2. The Wednesday Chook Run was won by Kerry Cook with net 29 and the r/up Vic Durie with net 33. NTP on the 4th went to Lynne Dickens and on the 5th was taken out by Graeme Reti. Least putts with 13 was won by Theo Sheppard. There was no ladies 9 hole competition this week. Sunday, 27th September was our Monthly Medal No 12 Stroke event sponsored by Riverside Funeral Home. The 9 hole and medal winner with net 40 was Mark Austen and the r/up with net 41 was Bev Hardwick. The 18 hole and medal winner was Col Want with net 71 on a c/b from Vic Durie. The O’Halloran Motors, John Deere Lawn Care sponsored NTP on both the 4th and the 5th went to Ross Lamond. The Maclean Motors sponsored least putts with 14 was won by Anthony Nagle in a 5-way c/b. Club Balls went to James Welsh, Barry Burgess and John McCormack. The Money Tree was won by our visitors from the Jacaranda Hotel in Grafton. Next Sunday, 4th October is a Stableford event sponsored by Lawrence Mechanical Service, and Inspiration Paints of Grafton. For the 9 hole players please note that your Open Foursomes Championship will take place so organize your partners. Starters are myself and Max Withnell. See you all there at 7.30am.
