Everyone is invited to an Australia Day sausage sizzle on Tuesday January 26 starting at 11.30am in exchange for a gold coin donation. There will be a lucky door and best Aussie outfit prize, meat tray raffle (supplied by Maclean Variety Meats) and free tennis and carpet bowls. Our usual Wednesday Chook Run will be held on Tuesday before lunch. We look forward to seeing you all for this fun day out. Our Wednesday Chook Run was won by Dick Grabham with nett 28 and the r/up Theo Sheppard with nett 35 in a 3-way c/b. Nearest the pin on the 4th went to Herb Wilson and on the 5th went to Vic Durie. Least putts was won by John McCormack with 14. Sunday, January 17 was a Stroke event sponsored by Oliver Squires. The 9 hole winner with nett 40 was Pat Parkes and the r/up Dick Grabham with nett 43. The 18 hole winner was Warren Heffernan on nett 69 and the r/up Aaron Patterson with nett 71 in a c/b from Anthony Nagle. The O’Halloran Motors, John Deere Lawn Care sponsored nearest the pin on the 4th went to Anthony Nagle and on the 5th to Aaron Patterson. The Maclean Motors sponsored least putts with 12 was also won by Anthony Nagle. Club Balls went to Col Want, Edna Jackson and James Austen. The Money Tree was won by Edna Jackson.
