Our Wednesday Chook Run was won by Theo Sheppard with nett 29 and the r/up Kerry Cook with nett 32. Least putts was taken out by Max Withnell with 15. Nearest the pin on the 4th went to Lynne Dickens and on the 5th to James Austen. Saturday 21st November was our Ladies 9 hole Stroke event which was very much a 2 person affair won by Sally Weeks with nett 36 and the r/up Kerry Cook with nett 43. NTP was won by Kerry Cook and least putts taken out by Sally Weeks with 16 on a c/b from Kerry Cook. Ladies please note that next Saturday’s starting time is 7.30am. Sunday 22nd November was a 2 person Ambrose sponsored by Grafton Discount Drug Store and the Club. The 9 hole winners were Pat Parkes and Ray Daniel with 36 nett and the r/up on 36 ¾ Doc Foster and Peter Capp. The 18 hole winners were James Austen and John McCormack with nett 66 ¼ and the r/up Theo Sheppard and James Austen with nett 70 ¼ . The O’Halloran Motors, John Deere Lawn Care sponsored nearest the pin on the 4th went begging and on the 5th to Noel Butcher. The Maclean Motors sponsored least putts with 12 was taken by Col Want and Des Hancock. Club Balls went to Mark Austen, Wayne Rush and Denis Hardwick. The Money Tree was won by Mark Austen.
