The Lawrence Fishing Club is having a ‘Sign on day’ to be held at The Lawrence Tavern on Sunday February 3 commencing at 12pm in conjunction with our normal outing day and weigh in.

This is open to existing members to renew their membership and to welcome anyone who may be interested in becoming a new member of the fishing club; not all our members fish, some are members who participate in the social aspect of the club.

There will be a sausage sizzle and some refreshments for those that join the club and participate on the day.  

Every month the Club has an estuary, deep sea, rock & beach, spear fishing competition outing, with the weigh-in and barbecue at The Lawrence Tavern on the 1st Sunday of each month.

The Club also has camping trips, and barbecues in the park for the members throughout the year.

There is an annual presentation and Christmas party for members at the end of November each year.

Membership is $15 for single (16 years & over); $25 for family or couple, and $2 for juniors not in family membership.

The Club also holds a weekly raffle at the Lawrence Tavern and some of the proceeds are donated to Westpac Helicopter each year.
