Kathy Parker Eagles the 4th at Yamba
Kathy Parker had a great day on Saturday when she had an Eagle on the 4th hole. Great work, Kathy. Winning the event among the five contenders, with 37 points, was Gillian Holst. Kathy was runner-up 34. Nearest to the Pin went to Jenny Moody.
Sixty ladies played a 2BBB v Stableford on Wednesday and the winning duo was Lyn Rowland and Jennifer Fagan with 45 points. In second place was Wendy O’Brien and Meg Kulmar 44 and in third Gillian Holst and Kathy Parker 43. Pro balls ran to 42.
NTPs were won by Suzie Stokes – Yamba Medical Centre 3, Pay Jupipit – Yamba Florist 3/2, Paula O’Keeffe – Yamba Pro Shop 9, Jennifer Fagan – Yamba Fair Butchery 10 and also The Shoe Boutique 12, Lyn Rowland – Clovelly Fashions – 17 and Leslie Love – The Block 17/2.
Draw of the cards winners were Trish White – Civic Video; Sandra Russo – The Friendly Grocer; Phyllis Telfer – Priceline Pharmacy and Jo King – Yamba Florist. The raffle, which raised $90, was won by Jenny Moody.
Glen Czarnota was the winner of the Single Stableford on Friday with a score of 41. Runner-up was Jenny Macqueen 39c/b from Jennifer Fagan also 39.
Balls went to 35c/b and pins were won by Linda Duke-Yonge – Tom’s Seafood Chinese Restaurant 3; Phyllis Telfer – Retireinvest 3/2; Glen Czarnota – Peter Campbell Physiotherapy 9; Virginia Moore – Kitchen to Table 10; Lyn Rowland – Yamba’s Fisho 12; Jennifer Fagan – Wato’s Fish & Burgers – 17 and Jennifer Dewar – Yamba Pharmacy 17/2.
The 2015 golfing season is officially over for the Ladies, but a Summer comp will take place each Wednesday and Friday and will be run by the Pro Shop. If you wish to enter these events you may do so via the computers in the club-house.
